North Carolina Festival by the Sea at Holden Beach

Hosted by the Holden Beach Merchants Association, the annual NC Festival by the Sea is a free weekend-long event on Holden Beach. The Festival by the Sea takes place the last full weekend of October and is slated this year for October 26-27, 2024.

The fun weekend is filled with activities for all ages, including a horseshoe tournament, sand castle building contest, arts and crafts vendors, live music, a children's area, and plenty of food!. Admission and parking are free!

Saturday: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (followed by live music)

Sunday: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM
