Every summer from mid-June to mid-August, Holden Beach offers weekly Summer Day Camps for children ages 6 – 12 years old. Both our local community and our visiting guests look forward to these camps every year! Due to their popularity, spots fill up fast—the sooner you sign your kids up, the better!
The weekly Summer Day Camps are held on Thursdays and each one is unique and your children will have a blast! Please confirm the schedule and cost with the Town of Holden Beach when you submit your payment prior to camp day along with a registration form to the Holden Beach Town Hall.
2023 Holden Beach Summer Day Camps Schedule
June 22: “Putterin’ Around”- a trip to Fantasy Isle complete with putt-putt and ice cream. Cost: $12 for residents, $17 for non-residents; Time: 11 AM-1 PM
June 29: “Ahoy, Mateys!” - a pirate theme day, including drawing pirate flags and ships, learning about local pirates, and searching for treasure! Cost: $10 for residents, $15 for non-residents. Time: 9 AM -12 PM
July 6: “Explore the Outdoors” – learning about Holden Beach from a nature perspective, including a nature walk, looking at plants and animals, and decorating your own insect! Cost: $10 for residents, $15 for non-residents. Time: 9 AM- 12 PM
July 13: “Head in the Game” – a sports-themed day of friendly competition and sportsmanship! Cost: $10 for residents, $15 for non-residents. Time: 9 AM -12 PM
July 27: “Sliding thru Holden” – a trip to Magic Mountain, the waterslide park right on the Holden Beach Causeway. Contact the Town for more details.
August 3: “Tall Tales and Royalty” – exploring how fairy tales are created and shared. Cost: $10 for residents, $15 for non-residents. Time: 9 AM -12 PM
